Handling and Storage
Operational precautions: Closed operation, pay attention to ventilation. The operation is as mechanized and automated as possible. Prevent smoke or dust from leaking into the workplace air. Operators must be specially trained to strictly observe the operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear filter-type gas masks (half-masks), chemical safety goggles, anti-acid-alkali plastic overalls, and acid-resistant (alkali) gloves. Avoid generating steam or dust. Avoid contact with oxidants and bases. It should be lightly loaded and unloaded to prevent damage to the packaging and containers. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may be harmful residues.
Storage Notes: Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Package sealed. Should be stored separately from oxidants and alkalis. Avoid mixing. Storage areas should be equipped with spill emergency treatment equipment and suitable containment materials
First Aid Measures
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and flush with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Eye contact: Immediately lift the lid and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Inhalation: quickly from the scene to fresh air. Keep the airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Get medical attention.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water and drink milk or egg white. Get medical attention.
Fire Fighting Measures
Hazardous combustion products: phosphorus oxide, phosphine.
Fire extinguishing methods: use of anti-solvent foam, carbon dioxide, sand fire.
Accidental Release Measures
Emergency treatment: Rapidly evacuation of personnel from leaking contaminated areas to safe areas, and isolation, strict restrictions on access. Cut off the fire. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and wear anti-acid and alkaline work clothes. Do not touch the spill directly. Cut off the leak as much as possible.
Small leaks: Absorb with sand, vermiculite, or other inert materials.
Large leaks: constructing embankments or digging pits for containment. Cover with foam to reduce vapor disasters. The pump is transferred to a tanker or a dedicated collector for recovery or transport to a waste disposal site for disposal.
